Gabriel’s Angels Ireland Limited offer a positive alternative to nursing home care by providing Live-in care services. Carers can assist customers with personal care and light housework while living with the customer, helping individuals to feel confident and comfortable in their own homes and supported in living their lives to the best of their ability.

All Care Plans will use a relationship-based model of care, which focuses on the goals the customer wants to achieve.

Personal Care Services

At Gabriel's Angels, we are here to offer a helping hand to those who need a little extra support to maintain their independence – being a guardian when you need one.

Our personal care services are available for any daily tasks that you may need help with – bathing, showering, dressing, toileting, or support with medical applications; all done in the comfort of your own home. Our personal care services include, but are not limited to:

Bathing and showering (including bed baths).
Lotion and cream application as required.
Dressing/getting ready for bed.
Oral hygiene.
Haircare and make-up application.
Support with shaving.
Help with toileting, including the use of a bedpan or commode.
Changing of continence pads, and cleaning of intimate areas.
Changing or maintaining catheter or stoma bag, or any other form of clinical intervention.

Domestic Care
Services

If you or your loved one is finding your daily household chores more physically demanding and tiring, our domestic care service is here to lend you a helping hand keeping your home clean and tidy with one-off or regular visits.

It can be a great help to hand over the daily chores to a Gabriel’s Angels carer.

This relieves the pressure of housekeeping and allows you to spend valuable time and energy on the more important things in life, while having peace of mind that your home will be maintained to the standards that you expect.

We understand that everyone in our care is unique.

This is why you and your loved ones will have complete control and final say on the support that our carers provide, allowing us to carry out your daily tasks to your specific requirements and standards at a time that suits you.

Companionship Care

Gabriel’s Angels are here not to just to provide the more mundane care services. We recognise that many people are lonely or isolated especially during the more recent times and therefore may want some companionship and a conversation from a friendly face; for example, many of our carers complete jigsaws with our clients. People with dementia often like to do housework, cleaning or cooking.

We can help from as little as 1 hour a week up to whatever you need. It may be that a partner of a person with dementia wants to go out to a club themselves, so we can come in and stay with your loved one while you go out. We can also offer respite for a week or two while you go on holiday if needed - or we can come on holiday with you.

Companionship may include someone coming to visit you at home and having a chat with a cup of coffee or taking you out into the community to do an activity of your choice; some people may like to go swimming or to the gym, basically whatever is your personal choice.

Shopping & Attending Appointments

We often find that many of our newer clients are concerned about their increased lack of mobility and the challenges of carrying out, for example, day to day shopping becomes much difficult than it used to be. Similarly, if ill health becomes more prevalent accessing health appointments – especially in more recent times – can start to become a pretty daunting exercise.

Gabriel’s Angels understand that care isn’t always about the personal care aspect and that many people also require more day-to-day support when trying to get out and about - but don’t want to lose their independence.

So, whether you need assistance in the supermarket or whether you would like to stay at home whilst one of our carers completes the shopping, we can help on a regular or ad hoc basis.

We can also assist you to write a shopping list, menu planning; similarly, we can help plan your access to health care services and assist with that.

24/7 emergency Care

We understand that an occasion may arise where you require 24-hour urgent care due to an unexpected emergency for yourself or a family member who requires support around the clock.

With one-to-one care, a carer will be awake at all times ready to support you as you require. There will usually be one carer during the day and a different carer during the night.

We are able to implement emergency 24-hour care at short notice and this can be on a temporary or longer-term basis.

Reduced Off-Peak Rates

Our Reduced Rate, Off-Peak Private Home Help & Home Care Service may be available at a reduced cost when availed of between the hours of 4pm and 8am, up to 7 days a week.

This service may be less expensive than your average Home Help or Cleaning Service but you will also benefit from having our Trained, Insured and Garda Vetted professional home care assistants to assist you or your loved ones.

The level of assistance provided can be entirely tailored to fulfill your requirements and needs, from full high dependency care to companionship.

We can assist all of our clients to receive the tax relief relevant to them. The Revenue Commissioners allows the person(s) paying for care at home to significantly reduce the cost of the care service, by claiming tax relief at their marginal rate of tax (20% or 40%).
